Mission Statement

•      The Chamber's primary purpose is to represent and advance the economic and civic interests of the business, professional and service organizations in our community. The Chamber is a non-profit organization funded by membership dues and fundraising; it is not a governmental agency.

•      To develop encourage, promote and protect the professional, and general business interests of the community

•      The mission of the Astoria Chamber of Commerce is to enhance the economic climate and to promote the business community for the benefit of the greater Astoria area.

•      The Chamber is organized to advance the general welfare, economic development and diversity of Astoria Area, so that their citizens and all area of the business community prosper.

•      To enhance the development of industrial, commercial, tourism, and civic interest in conjunction with promoting sound government and encouraging tourism in Astoria and the surrounding area. Beyond answering daily phone inquiries, gathering statistics, printing brochures, visiting new businesses and promoting the community, the Chamber is a common vehicle through which business and professional people work together for the common good of the community.
