Chamber Bucks are like a super gift certificate – they can be used to purchase merchandise, products or services at the merchants and business members of the Astoria Area Chamber of Commerce. (Only Chamber members can accept Chamber Bucks. Sorry, no exceptions)  Look for the Chamber Member Signs.

The Astoria Area Chamber of Commerce Chamber Bucks program is designed to promote to  “Shop Astoria First”. The use of Chamber Bucks insures that this money is spent in the community, benefiting Chamber member businesses, thereby benefiting the community while giving you more options for gifts.

Members or non-members can purchase the Chamber Bucks at Astoria Chamber of Commerce member business or gift certificates from their Business.

Chamber Bucks are great for every gift giving situation – birthday, graduation, employee rewards and incentives - the possibilities are endless.

Chamber Bucks are treated like cash. Bucks come in denominations of $5.00 each.   Remember, these Bucks are gift certificates - they cannot be redeemed for cash or “cashed in”.

Sorry, we cannot offer refunds on Chamber Bucks, nor can they be redeemed for cash at the Chamber or at participating businesses.

How do Chamber Bucks work?

To spend Chamber Bucks:

Use them just like cash with any of our Chamber members!

For merchants and businesses:

Treat Chamber Checks just like regular money. Please make sure that all employees who handle money are well informed of the program and do not turn away customers who bring in Chamber Checks.

After acceptance, deposit the Chamber Bucks with Steve Butler. he will pay you for them.

Businesses that are not Chamber members may not participate in the Chamber Bucks program. If a business accepts our “Chamber Bucks” and is not a Chamber member, the Bucks will not be redeemed. This program is to promote Chamber members and is an added benefit to our investors.
